Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover

Yesterday I posted a review about Elizabeth Arden mascara ant today and I want to make a review about another Elizabeth Arden product which was in the same gift set. So let's talk about Elizabeth Arden All Gone Eye and Lip Makeup Remover.




FACTS

50 ml, made in U.S.A, suitable to use 24 month after opening. Keep in mind I got it in a gift set together with full size mascara and mini Eye Cream.

To use: Shake well. Saturate a cotton pad or puff and stroke gently across eye and lip areas.

MY OPINION

I finished this travel size bottle in 5 times. I used a lot of product every time as it is very runny.

I did not like the feeling after I used this product, I could feel oiliness everywhere around my eyes. I prefer milk type of products.

STARS

7 out of 10. It is handy to have a little bottle around especially if you are travelling but I woul not buy full size bottle.

Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing Mascara UPDATED

I just recently bought Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing Mascara and I can not wait anymore to share my impressions about it.

FACTS

I was very lucky to get a set of Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Colour Lash Enhancing Mascara, Make Up Remover and Mini Eye Cream for only 21.50 euro in Clerys. It was 20 percent off for gift sets so I just got it.

There is 7 ml mascara in the tube and it is suitable to use 6 month after opening. It is made in Italy. I got Black 01 shade.


MY OPINION

I love love love this mascara. It is my very first mascara from Elizabeth Arden company and I think it is amazing. It does make my lashes look big, bold, long and dramatic. It is also very buildable product so you can get different looks for day time and night time.

I have to say I love expensive looking gold tube and the brush is very simple but it does a great job. You can see picture below. Using it I can manage to reach all my short lashes. I do have shortish lashes so I expect mascara do make them visible.

STARS (UPDATED!!!!)

9 out of 10, because it is quite pricey mascara. On it's own it costs 26 euro in Debenhams. I will definitely buy it agan when the offer will be on.

Sorry guys but I have to admit that I completely changed my mind about this product! It is the worst mascara I ever had. It dried after 1 and a half months after I bought it. It is a waste of money! I would give this mascara only 4 stars now.

Mark Hill MiracOILicious Hair Mask

I want to share my impressions about Mark Hill MiracOILicious Hair Mask. To begin with, I have very long, thick and highlighted hair. I use hair mask one or twice a week when I want to spoil my hair.

FACTS

I got Mark Hill MiracOILicious hair mask in Boots for 7.33 euro. It was on offer, regular price is 10.99. The product is suitable to use 12 months after opening. Made in Nytherlands.

This product is paraben free and enriched with oils.

MY OPINION

The first thing I noticed about this product is divine smell. It is very rich and heavy oriental scent. However I am not too sure if I like the packaging. For me it does not look very expensive or professional. Black and yellow design looks quite dull in the shelves and probably I would not notice it when browsing between other appealing packages.

I bought Mark Hill conditioner, shampoo and mask all together and I tried to use them all but it was too much for my hair. They did not look happy at all. My hairdesser told me that it was too much stress for my hair. She does not recommend to change all my hair products in one go.

Must have foundation YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat

Today I would like to make a review about my most expensive and probably the best foundation I ever used which is Yves Sain Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat.

FACTS

I got this foundation in Debenhams and paid 40 euro. There is 30 ml of the product in a luxurious glass bottle. I got the shade Beige Dore 30 which is very light shade but I never really get tan anyway. The product is suitable to use 12 months after opening. It is made in France.

MY OPINION

I love expensive looking packaging and the glass bottle also has a pump. I usually need 2 to 3 pumps to get all my face and neck covered. It is very buildable as well. I personally apply this foundations using my fingers. I did tried to use my Make Up Forever brush N8 but it takes longer and you have to be very precise to get everything covered properly.

Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Eclat gives me very light covererage and I always use Este Lauder Double Wear Concealer on top of it.

What I love about is foundation is how it feels on my skin. I do not feel I am wearing any make up at all. My dehydrated skin looks very well and this product gives it divine glow as well.

STARS

I would rate this product 9 stars out of 10. The only thing I do not like about this foundation is the price ;)

L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Mask Balm

FACTS

300 ml in the jar, suitable to use 12 month after opening. L'oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Mask Balm is enriched with 6 mikro flower oils which supposed to be very good. Formula is very concentrated and the product should give your hair softness and shine.

I got this product in the supermarket when it was on offer. I paid only 4 euro and I was using this product about three months.

MY OPINION

To begin with, I have very long, thick dry, highlited hair. This mask balm helped to manage my hair but the smell of the product is quite strong and sweet.

The concistensy of the product is not the greatest and it does not stay on fingers when I am applying product on my hair so quite a lot goes to the waist.

I tried many L'oreal eElvive products and I liked most of them but to be honest this one is not my favourite.

STARS

5 stars. I probably would not buy this product again.

Garinier Essentials Hydrating Day Care

FACTS

I bought this cream in Dunnes stores, it was on offer andI paid 2.99 only. There is 50 ml in the jar and it is suitable to use 12 months after opening. This Garinier Essentials cream provides 24 hours moisturising care cor your face. Made in Germany.

MY OPINION

When you open the jar you can feel very light sent of roses, consistency is very nice, not greasy and easy to apply on the skin. My skin absorbs this product very well. By the way I have dehydrated skin. I would not say I feel 24 hours moisturising effect on my skinbut it is good enough.

I remember using Garinier face products when I was a student, around 6 years ago. The only thing which probably changed about Garinier is packaging. I prefer old glass jar not this new plastic one.

8 out of 10. Value for the money, all in all it is a great product.

Inecto Pure Coconut Hand&Nail cream

Hi Everyone!

It is only few days left till Christmas and everyone is very busy but I want to make a little review about my new Inecto intensely moisturising hand&nail cream.

So if you red my previous posts you probbably know I am very fussy about hand creams and I am always looking for a new, better one.

FACTS

There is some info about Inecto Pure Coconut hand&nail cream: 75 ml in the tube, paraben free, made in England, suitable to use 18 months after opening. I got it as a present but I think is about 2 euro in the shop.

MY OPINION

Amazing smell, you will love it if you love coconuts :) Absorbs really good, not greasy at all. I really like this cream as it is goot both for hand and nail.

STARS

So far so good so I will give this product 8 stars. In other words, value for the money.

Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo

www.feelunique.com is always full of temptations I just need to browse there for half an hour and I find something there for me. Another good thing is that postage is free of charge if you spend over 15 euro. I was buying face scrub but then I realised I am missing couple euro to qualify for free postage. So I decided to try Joico Moisture Recovery shampoo.

FACTS

Shampoo is made in USA, there is 300 ml of the product in the bottle. It is designed specially for dry, dehydrated hair. This shampoo shoud improve the managebility  of even the most unruly hair. However, one of main ingriedients is Sodium Laureth Sulfate. I paid 13,46 euro for it. Actually there is all range of Joico Recovery. You can also buy conditioner, treatment balm, leave-in moisturiser.

MY OPINION

I just got my T-Bar highlited couple months ago and my hair needed some extra moisture. I find it hard to manage them especially because they are very long and thick.

I used this generous size of bottle only about 45 days which is just like one month and a half and today I finished it. Well, I always do shampooing twice but still I think this shampoo finished slightly to early.

The smell was quite nice and did not annoy me at all. I noticed that my hair was more shiny and softer while using this product.

STARS

8 stars out of 10. I even might consider repurchising this product in the future.

CHANEL BASE LUMIÈRE ILLUMINATING MAKEUP BASE

Chanel... Every girl has a dream to own something of this brand. I was so lucky and I got a chance to try a new Chanel product CHANEL BASE LUMIERE ILLUMINATING MAKEUP BASE. I want to share my impression and thoughts about this product.

FACTS

You can buy this product in Debenhams for 42 euro. It is fresh, oil free make up base that evens out complexion. I can not provide any more details about packaging as I only got a sample in Chanel counter. Girls working there are fantastic!

MY OPINION

I absolutelly love this product. It looks white in the bottle but when I apply it on the skin it becomes transparent. I do use it generouslly and I love the feeling of it. It is only my second primer ever but it is fantastic. 

My skin which is dehydrated and flaky feels total comfort when I am wearing it. I usually apply it before my foundation. I did try to apply ot on top of it for highlithting but my YSL Touche Eclat foundation is highlithing enough actually.

Another thing I love about this product is smell. It smells like expensive perfum but when I apply product on the skin the smell fades so it does not bother me at all.

I also tried to use this Chanel product on it's own with no make up. I apied id in the morning before going for a walk. My face looked very well, it had this little nice glow and even color. I did not needed any more hydration all day which is great and very unusual for my skin.

Artdeco mascara All in One

I just recently purchased a new mascara and it is called Artdeco All in One. I am dying to share my impressions with you guys.

FACTS

The original price in Debenhams is 17.70 e but I got it for 10.53 euro. It is 10 ml of the product in the tube and it should give volume, length and shape for my lashes. By the way it is made in Germany.

MY OPINION

I bought greyish shade of mascara which is quite unusual but it looks great and very natural on my lashes. It looks like my natural lashes just better version of them.

As far as I remember I think that is second time I am using this product. I had it seven years ago and I bought it in Lithuania, black version. I do not recall anything negative about this particular mascara so I just gave it another go.

To be even more honest, I could not not afford to get Lancome or Shiseido mascara so I got something in between drug store and high end mascara which in my opinion is Artdeco.

I really love the collor and it does give a nice length to my shortish lashes. The wand is a great size as well.You can see a picture bellow. I hate those big wands as my lashes are very short.

However, there is one thing which drives me mad about this mascara. After wearing it for couple hours I can see bits of mascara under my eyes. I hate those little flakes and it is a big no no to me. What is more, after removing my make up I can still see bits of mascara into my eyes and I do not think that the way it should be.

STARS

I might sound a little bit mean but I only will give 6 stars out of 10 for this product.

Giorgio Armani Si Eau De Parfum Intense

Today I would like to make a review about my new perfume Giorgio Armani Si Eau De Parfum Intense.

FACTS

50 ml bottle on offer in Debenhams costed 72.25 euro. Full price is 85 e. I was lucky to get them with 15 percent discount and save a little money. Si is made in France and it is suitable to use 24 month after opening.

Armani Si perfume was launched 2013, but this year they introduced Intense version of the perfume.

MY OPINION

I love this modern but also elegant sent. You can smell blackcurrant and musky wood. However, it is not very long lasting as you probbably expect prom Perfum Intense. In my opinion, it is suitable to use it daytime and nightime. I also love the bottle. It looks very expensive and luxurious.

STARS

9 stars out of 10 because it is quite pricey.

Blistex Classic Lip Protector

FACTS

4,25 g in a tube, you can use 12 months after opening, made in England. Only 1.49 euro in Dealz. You can go wrong for that price!

MY OPINION

It is small little helper, must have item in your make up bag. This lip protectir has no color whats so ever and it has sweet taste as well.

It helps prevent dry, chapped lips in all weather conditions. It is specially formulated with Aloe Vera, Vitamin E and Chamomile.

Overall it is nice product and I would give it 10 stars out of 10.

Tangle Teezer Original Brush

Hello Everyone!

I want to make a statement: I am in love with my new Tangle Teezer Original Brush. I got it yesterday as a birthday present from my girlfriends and I love it!

To begin with, it is absolutely gorgeous. You can see pictures below.

I never had such a nice brush. It is British made and as fas as I know ir costs 15.99 euro in Boots.

It is designed very well and very handy to use. The size is just perfect for my palm. As you can see in the pictures, it has nice curvy shape.

It is professional detangling brush ideal for all types of hair. I have long, thick hair with highlited T-Bar and my hair are not easy to manage. However, this brush is fantastic and does a great job. This brush delivers speedy and gentle results as it promises. What is more, it can be used on wet or dry hair without any pulling or yanking. 

This Tangle Teezer Original Brush is the best brush I ever had and I am over the moon. It is definitely worth 10 stars out of 10.

Artdeco winter collection 2014 Glam, Moon&Stars

Today is second of December and I want to talk about Christmas make up. Usually it is something sparkly, something red, something glamorous...

I was lucky enough and I was a model for Artdeco winter 2014 make up presentation.  This winter collection is called Glam, moon&stars. I would like to share my impressions with you, guys.

I posted two pictures. One is before and one is after so you can see the difference.

I just got my make up done. I am in the left and you can see my gorgeous friend Kay with a glass of wine.

At the end of the day

To begin with, I am a big fan or Artdeco cosmetics and skincare and I tried a lot of their products.  The products from the new collection looked very promising and nice are but I was quite dissapointed with their lasting power.

My make up looked very poor at the end of the day. I had sparkly bits falling of my eye make up on my face constantly, eye shadows runned into creases. Eye liner was very hard to remove at the end of the day. On the other hand, the product which I really like was a lipstic. It lasted quite a while and color was massive.

To be honest I have mixed feelings about their new collection. The only product I would consider buying is a lipstic which was very moisturising and had a nice creamy texture . It is 18 euro. In my opinion, for a lipstic is quite expensive.

My Shopping List for December

Last month I was writting down all my beauty expenses, both treatments and actual make up, and later I made calculation that I spent nearly 200 euro in November. I think it is very reasonable amount of money because I live in quite expensive city Dublin.

I hope that I learned something from my mistakes. One of them is buying on  impulse and not seeing the bigger picture. This time I am well prepaired and I did my shopping list.

MY SHOPPING LIST

Trilogy Rosehip Oil for Dehydrated Face

To begin with, I never tried Trilogy products before. It is very first time I am trying rosehip oil as well. There are so many people praising Trilogy products so I could not resist temptation myself.

FACTS

Packaging of the product is quite nice and attractive. You can see red color box in the picture above. The bottle contains 20 ml of the product,it is brown glass bottle, with a pipette. Valid for 6 months after opening. Bottled in New Zealand using imported organic Rosehip oil. Store below 30 ° C. Full price is 24 euro. I was lucky to get for 12 euro as girlfriend gave me 50 percent voucher.

It is recommended to use this Trilogy Rosehip oil for dry, dehydrated, aging skin and to fight stretch marks, scars and wrinkles. My skin at the moment is quite dehydrated and needs more elasticity.

IMPRESSIONS

The procuct has a yellowish color and fishy smell. It vanishes in a minute or so after product is applied on the skin. Brown glass bottle protects the oil from the sun. I was very impressed with pipette but it is glass so it crashed very quickly.

It is recommended to use oils on damp skin to better soak into the deeper layers of the skin, and what I'm doing. The first time I multiply the product and my skin drank oil very  hard, but the next night (I use this oil in the evening instead of / against facial cream) I used only two drops and it was perfect, I could use my evening cream after.

I think that the results of using Trilogy Rosehip oil become more evident after a month or two, because natural products does not give the desired quick FIX immediately, it requires patience.

OVERALL RATING: 8 points out of 10. 

My Beauty Must Have List

Hello everyone!

Today I was thinking about the products I use every day and I could not live without them. So I made my beauty essentials Must Have List.

I would really love to see your lists as well so you are more then welcome to write it down in the comments :)

My Beauty Essentials List:

1. Hand cream. I always had dry hand skin so I could not imagine my daily routine without it.
2. Thermal water. It is great quick fix for dry skin.
3. Eye cream. It is nearly decade I am using eyecream every day. I think that prevention is very important.
4. Face cream.
5. Foundation.
6. Brow pencil. I love defined brows.
7. Lip Balm. My lips are very pale and thin, they are not my favourite face feature but to improve situation I try to use lip balm every time I remember it.
8. Mascara. I think that there is not such a thing like too much mascara. I love big, bold, long lashes.

L'oreal Miss Manga Mascara

FACTS

There is 8,5 ml of the product in the tube, suitable to use 6 months after opening, made in Italy. The wand is really big but flexible, it takes a little while to get used to it.

MY OPINION

I have tried a lot of L'oreal mascaras but I always tend to buy a new, different one.

I really liked Miss Manga mascara by L'oreal, it is a great mascara and does a great job on your lashes. They become really bold, big and volumised.

To get a really nice look with this mascara takes me good 5 minutes or 3 layers of mascara.

STARS

8 out of 10. This is great budget mascara, I might buy it again.
